ABZ Holdings giving students opportunities to be better people in life

ABZ Skills and Training has provided work integrated learning (WIL) for university and college students, community outreach programs, and mentorship to Johannesburg citizens for the past eight years. Through these services and programs planned and implemented by ABZ, we have reached out to different communities around the Johannesburg region and helped over 8400 students to graduate, whilst doing a number of community outreach programs for children and adults where we did public education & school encouragement programs.  ABZ Holdings was their way of showing gratitude to opportunities that came their way.

The Organization comprises of 3 operational categories that are as follows:

Customer Care Group: Customer care group is responsible for placing graduates who are not yet working and also find clients for the organization. They handles all the enquiries pertaining the organization and make sure they delivery all the promises they had promised the current and potential clients. They monitor day to day activities of the organization.  

Research and Archive Group: Archive is an accumulation of historical records that have been accumulated over the organizations life time to show all the function of the organization and past achievements. Archiving helps the organization keep a long term record of company functions. The group handles every information pertaining the organizations such as events, pictures, documents. They are reliable for archiving all information for future references for the company.  

Strategic Group: Strategic group are reliable for organizing the Organization's events such as campaigns, etc. The group are also reliable for uplifting the image of the company through making sure that every event they are organizing is a success and bring revenue to the company.

ABZ holdings has a mission to provide professional services and products that benefit their clients, they value; respect, integrity, professionalism, spirit of Ubuntu and innovation.

ABZ Holdings is an organization that was established by students with students for students to do their practical’s (internships) and to be better Citizens, achieve their skills and capabilities. The Organization offers students and graduates a platform to get knowledge and know more about the things they need to know in what they had studied.

Who else could have thought that such platform will give the students and graduates exposure to learn more about their fields?

The founders (Bongani Zwane and Lucky Litedu) of the organization were inspired by the lack of job placements/practical’s the students faces in their day to day basis and thought to use such issue to their advantage. As Mr. Abel Bongani Zwane always say, “One man’s problem is another one man’s opportunity”. The statement kept him not to lose hope in the Organization. Today the Organization has helped more than 8400 students to graduate.

The organizations’ main core divisions are: Property, Training and development, Supply chain, and Innovation Hub. These divisions provide the students with opportunities such as exposure to learn more, engaging and forming a mutual relationships with their stakeholders, and participating in organizing events for the company. The Organization is also categorized into 3 aspects which are: Theory, Practical, and placement. The organization promote love, trust, and communication among its employees.
